The National Sports Medicine Institute is taking the appropriate steps to protect the safety of our patients, communities, team members, and caregivers. Please do not come to the office, if you are experiencing the following:
- Fever (temperature greater than 100.0o

) - Symptoms of respiratory infection
- Cough or difficulty breathing
- Loss of sense of taste and smell
- Had exposure to a COVID-19 individual
- Traveled to a high-risk country classified by the CDC
For your safety and the safety of our patients and staff, please stay home.
During your Appointment:
NSMI is dedicated to reducing exposure and slowing the spread of the coronavirus. In order to keep you, our staff and the community safe we have implemented several changes to our practice.
- We are now implementing telemedicine appointments for existing patients and follow ups
- All patient over the age of 2 years old are required to wear a face mask for the entirety of the visit at NSMI
- All patients and company will be temperature checked prior to entering patient rooms
- Those individuals with a temperature of greater than 100 degrees will be seen at the discretion of the provider or asked to reschedule their appointment to a later date
- Our waiting room capacity has been limited to avoid crowds of greater than 10 people
- Patient may wait in their cars if the waiting room has reached capacity
- All exam rooms are disinfected after each patient
- Special precautions are taken for patients in high risk categories when visiting our office
